Specials from Caroline’s Kitchen Available from 1 February

Well January went in a blink of the eye, what between being busy, busy bees and other things I’ve not had chance to be in touch.  Looks like February is heading the same way, what with a new menu planned, kitchen refurb (lovely shiny new equipment) and Jessica’s cake sale for Ghana.

Jessica has been working hard baking cakes to sell and making dog biscuits with a very attentive audience.  Anyone would think that those dogs were never fed!!

Proud of Jessica wanting to take part in this very worthy trip to Ghana, and raising the money to go.  She has been planning more events/happenings to raise money and we will continue to support her efforts.  I am sure she would appreciate any support from you here’s the link to her fundraising page:Jessica’s Go Fund me Page

I’ve noticed that despite the cold weather ( I am still putting a roaring fire in every morning) that there are small signs of Spring starting to show itself while we are out walking the mutley crew.  Snowdrops are making their beautiful entrance and I have spotted the beginnings of daffodils peeking through the undergrowth.  Must be a hint of Spring in the air as “Queen” Polly even came for a walk the other day.

Anyway my dears, we will be shut for the refurb (shiny, shiny new equipment – me excited?!), from 10 February until 17 February, and we are hoping to be able to launch the new menu as we re open the kitchen for business.  I will of course let you know what we have in store for you as soon as we can.  While I am working on the new menu for you all, along with our ever evolving Specials menu, here are my specials for you available up until the kitchen closes:
