Beer, beer, glorious beer. Nothing quite like it for giving you cheer. So follow me follow, to our watering hollow, and there let us wallow in glooooooooooorious beer!!
There is no Six Nations this weekend, but let us cheer you with our beer selection. On the bar from Grumpy’s cellar this weekend are:
London Pride from Fullers – ABV 4.1%,, this tawny-coloured premium ale borrows sweet raisin, biscuit and dried-fruit notes from the Crystal malt, while fresh, piney herbs emanate from the hops. Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.
Salvation from Charnwood ABV 3.8% – A light refreshing golden beer, with tropical fruit, citrus, and floral flavours. American Cascade and Amarillo hops create a citrus aroma, and crisp clean bitterness on the finish.
Not forgetting our staples of:
Grumpy Landlord from Ushers ABV 3.6% – A deep, golden coloured bitter with a citric and earthy hop aroma and flavour with caramel malt notes.
Bass Premium Ale 4.4%ABV – It is richly fragrant with a hoppy bouquet and has a complex nutty, malty taste and a bright chestnut hue.
